Promoting Gender Equality through Local Knowledge & people’s Initiative project of USS has organized Essay competition for Students on 31 March 2015 in Nilphamari De-mukhi High School, Nilphamari Supported by diakonia Bangladesh. Subject of the Essay competition was “Female and male role to develop family and society.” 160 students participated in three classes (Class six, seven and eight). Md. Ruhul Amin, Head Teacher, Nilphamari De-mukhi High School was the chief guest in prize distribution ceremony. He Said, this competition is very effective to develop consciousness on gender equality and women rights for students. Md. Omor Faruk, Coordinator of USS was present in event.
