Today dated on 7th January, 2016 upazila child welfare board meeting held in Jaldhaka upazila. The meeting was arranged by Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and Plan International Bangladesh at upazila hall room presided over by Md. Hasan Habib, UNO, Jaldhaka upazila and president of upazila child welfare board. In the meeting 25 participants attended. Among them officer in-charge Jaldhaka, Education officer high school, Jaldhaka, Pijirul Alom, founder of Chanmoni, upazila probation officer, Lutfuneza, Head teacher of Anirban school were present as member of upazila child welfare board. 12 youth from union level representatives were attended and presented the status of children from different union. Child marriage, child labor and education took priority agendas in the meeting. “We are thankful to our UNO for considering us as participants in the meeting. Though we are not member of the board but he has invited us to encourage our activities. It will help a lot to move forward to establish rights of the children” said Shirin Akter, President of upazila child forum.
