Action for Impact (A4I) Project of Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) celebrate International public service day at Gomnati Union Parishad on 23 June 2019 supported by Action Aid Bangladesh. The program was presided over by Mr. Abdul Hamid, Chairman, Gomnati Union Parishad. Mr. Ziabul Alam, Upazila Youth Development Officer, Domar was present as the chief guest. Mr. Shariful Islam, Chief Executive Officer, MS Overseas; Mr. Abdur Rouf, Instructor, Government Technical Training Center, Nilphamari were present as special guest. A discussion session was conducted by the government Technical Training Center (TTC) of Nilphamari on skill development and employment generation and urging to young participants to improve efficiency through practical training. Guests were said there is no alternative to technical education to improve the country. It is possible to arrange self-employment opportunities with modern and work-oriented education of young boys and girls in our country. Technical education will help a young man to be liberated with self-respecting humanity and open the door for his greater work. It was informed that the government has been providing training for 11 trades in different periods on skill development and employment generation at Nilphamari Technical Training Center to meet the demand of skilled manpower in the country and abroad. After the discussion session interested young people are taken application form from TTC representative.
