The Student forum of Tapurdanga High School, Khokshabari union of Nilphamari has celebrated the International Day of Girl Child under Promoting Gender Equality through Local Knowledge and Peoples Initiative (PGELKPI) project with the participation of more than 250 Students on 11th October’2022.
The theme of this year is 'Our Time Is Now — Our Rights, Our Future” International Day girl child focuses on problems and challenges faced by girl, which are an impediment to their well- being and better quality of life. The day was observed with Discussion session. Human chain and rally. Adolescent boys also participated eagerly in the event with a motto of equity for all. The event was completed support by USS and Diakonia.
