Ring Distribution to Develop Vermi Cluster

Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has distributed 40 nos ring to 20 right holder family at Bamandanga dhan bank of Palashbari union under Seeds of Survival (SoS) project supported by USC-Canada on 10th April’2018 to establish vermi compost cluster, production of varmi compost, use in their land and sell to others. Alauddin Ali Executive Director (ED) of USS and Abdul Kuddus Sarker coordinator of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) were present in discussion and ring distribution program. ED of USS describe regarding importance of vermi compost, lack of awareness about organic vegetables, different between vermi compost & other organic fertilizer, why organic vegetable need for human, probability organic vegetable market in Bangladesh etc. Md. Jomil Project Coordinator of SoS project gave elaborate briefing how & where they will set ring, which protection measure have to taken to save worm from chicken, birds, ant and other harmful insects. Project coordinator did also aware the ring receiver why they use vermi compost in their soil and how they will be benefited.
