Over 300 Hog plum and Nim plants were distributed among 150 female right holders of the PGELKPI project of USS on 9th August in Polashbari union, Nilphamari for the observation of World Environment Day 2017 by the support of Diakonia.
However, World Environment Day was on 5th of June. Because of dryness, that time was not ideal for tree plantation.
Md. Momtaz Ali Pramanik Chairman of Palashbari Union was present on that plant distribution program. The executive director of USS, project coordinator and other staffs of USS were also present at the program.
A discussion meeting and cultural program were also arranged for a festive celebration of the day.
