Position: YLC Coordinator

Vacancy: 1

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a planning matrix, plan, and budget for Youth Learning Center
  2. Prepare a strategic operational plan of approved activities of YLC and take initiatives for smoothly operation of the YLC activities.
  3. She/He will be reportable to the Project Coordinator of Sponsorship Programme.
  4. Sound knowledge to provides support to youth learners regarding modern technologies on agro-based (Agriculture product development, food processing, agro-machineries development, livestock, poultry etc.) entrepreneurship development.
  5. Have creative knowledge on value add, established linkage between learners and backward & forward actors and value chain of products.
  6. Freelancing and Graphics design support to youth learners.
  7. Support to youth learners on project activities like Robotics and remote-control toys.
  8. Support to youth learners on prepare quality videography and photography.
  9. Facilitate and support to Innovation Leads and learners to create suitable learning environment with Safeguarding.
  10. Arrange staff coordination and progress sharing meeting. 
  11. Provide feedback and guide to the Innovation Lead for better performance.
  12. Support the youth learners to their self-evaluation of progress.
  13. Have Skill to motivate learners’ parents and guardians     
  14. Have knowledge to develop of different conceptual and methodological documents.
  15. Provide innovative idea generation information’s based on learner’s interest and provide technical support on the idea execution of learners.
  16. Develop a good relationship; maintain liaison and advocacy with different government line department, private sector and NGO officials to ensure different services for the learners. 
  17. Assist the internal and the external team to visit the program as per plan.
  18. Oversight, maintenance and proper use of all kinds of YLC materials and resources and ensure the inventory register. 
  19. Support finance and administrative staff to ensure and maintain the proper documentation like attendance register, movement register, logbook, fixed assets, stock register etc. 
  20.  Support to the external and internal audit/financial visit team.
  21. Conduct the staff appraisal as per HRD policy.
  22. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by USS & Plan International Bangladesh.
  23. Good communication skill to donor & other stakeholder in Bangla & English. - both oral and written
  24. Communication, interpersonal, networking and strong facilitation skills.
  25. Strong team building and capacity building skills.
  26. Develop monthly, quarterly and annual activity plans approved by Project Coordinator. 
  27. Monitoring the progress and prepare progress of activities and submit to Project Coordinator.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master Degree from any reputed University / Institution but higher degree is not mandatory in case of experienced candidates. 

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 (five) years of practical experiences of above mention responsibilitiers.

Additional Requirements

  • Computer skills on Microsoft Office Package.
  • Experience on used of various type monitoring tools for impact assessment.  
  • Willing to drive motor cycle and should have valid driving license.
  • Age Limit: Not more than 45 years.

USS Youth Journalist Fellowship 2022

Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) is calling of applications for fellowship of youth journalists who involved in print and electronic media supported by ActionAid Bangladesh to encourage youth journalism.

Fellowship will be awarded in the following areas in 2022:

  23. Provide oversight for the maintenance and proper use of all kinds of project materials and resources and keep the register/inventory. 
  24. Support finance and administrative staff to ensure and maintain the proper documentation like attendance register, movement register, logbook, motorcycle register, fixed assets, stock register etc. 
  25.  Support to the external and internal audit team on financial activities consulting with finance focal of AAB.
