থাকবে শিশৠসবার মাà¦à§‡ à¦à¦¾à¦², দেশ-সমাজ পরিবারে জ¦à¦²à¦¬à§‡ আশার আলো with the theme Child Rights Week-2016 was observed arranged by Child Forums and School teachers by the support of USS and Plan International Bangladesh.USS is implementing Child Rights and Protection Project in Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari district. There are 35 child forums have been formed including union and upazila child forum. Every year USS jointly arranged the events to create mass awareness of community about child rights. This year child rights week was observed jointly with child forums, respective schools of the unions, youth forums and civil society organizations. On the occasion a colorful rally was took place leaded by respective chairmen. Child forum members, youth forum members, school students, teachers and community people tool active participation in the rallies. After the rally competition on arts, poem recite, debates were arranged by the support of school teachers. After then discussion session took place covering importance of the child rights week, who are called child, rights of the child, protection ect. “ I am very much happy to organized child rights week-2016 in my school premises. It is an opportunity for us to learn about child rights and protection from the organizations who are working for the rights and protection on children. I cordially thank USS for supporting to arrange child rights week.” said Bimal Krishna Roy, Head teacher of Baraipara govt. Primary school of Kaimari union under Jaldhaka upazila. USS supported to arranged six events in six unions of Jaldhaka upazila. Near about 3700 participants attended in the program. At the end of discussion session prizes were distributed among the winners.
