National Youth Day Celebration 2020

On 1 November 2020 national youth day celebrated joint collaboration with department of youth development of Nilphamari under Action for Impact (A4I) Project supported by Actionaid Bangladesh at youth training centre, Nilphamari. There were about 100 young people participate accordingly.

Objectives of the program:

• Maintain effective communication with grassroots youth and youth organizations through coordination with the Department of Youth Development.
• Youth organization registration and youth organization base skill development activities planning.
• Creating the needs of local youth and presenting them to the concerned department.

Mr Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Disctrict Commissioner, Nilphamari was present as Chief guest on the occasion; Joynal Abedin, Chairman, Zila Parishad, Nilphamari, Mr. Shahid Mamud, Chairman, Upazila Parishad, Sadar , Nilphamari, Alina Akter, Upazilla Nibahi Officer, Nilphamari Sadar were present as special guests and presided over by Mr. Abdul Faruk, DD-Department of youth development, Nilphamari. The youth day celebrated in different initiatives as discussion meeting, trainee certificate provide, youth group registration certificate provide and entrepreneur loan cheque handover.

In the same day the day is observed at Domar upazilla where present Upazilla Nirbahi Officer Sahina Sobnom, Office In-Charge Mostafizur Rahman, Domar Thana and Upazilla youth development officer AKM Ziabul Alom , Doamar.

There were 7 youth groups under Action for Impact (A4I) project received registration certificate from chief guest on the occasion.
