Conflict Transformation Training Held at Jaldhaka

Conflict transformation training held in Jaldhaka upazila at USS conference room arranged by Udayankur Seba Sangstha dated on 9-11 February, 2016 with the support of SVC. The participants were from different levels such as political leaders, religious leaders, civil society organization representatives and youth representatives. 15 participants attended in the training among them male 12 and female 3 took active participation in the training. The duration of the training is three days and facilitated by Md. Omor Fauk, Training coordinator and Jhorna Roy, project officer of USS and co-facilitator was Pobon Malo, Project Coordinator, USS Jaldhaka branch. “It is very important training for us while we are facing lot of problems regarding majority and minority issues. It will help a lot for building a peaceful society as well country. I am thankful to USS for arranging such kind of training for us” said Goutom Roy, Assistant secretary of Bangladesh Hindhu, Bodist Christian Association of Jaldhaka upazila. At the end of the training Loloni Bswas Joy, president of Bangladesh Jatra league, Jaldhaka upazila said that, “I am very much pleased to attend in conflict transformation training. We are working in different banners and it is an opportunity to gather together all parties’ leaders including civil society members. I hope we have been benefited and can work for the peace of our society as well country."
