Palashbari women Community Rice Bank of Nilphamari district arranged annual general meeting supported by USS, Nilphamari and Diakonia at Bamondanga 4 number community rice bank on 26th December’2019. Lalbanu, vice president of 4 no. rice bank chaired of the meeting. Shahid Mamud upazila chairman of Nilphamari sader upazila was present as chief guest. Momotaz Ali (Pramanik) chairman og Palashbari union was also present as special guest. Besides Shahnaz Begum project coordinator of gender equality project of USS, Abdul Kuddus Sarker education coordinator of USS, Salma Akter gender development officer of USS were present in the meeting. Near about 300 rice bank member including local elite person were present. Shahnaz Begum provided welcome speech and said women are doing following Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach for gender equality. Chief guest assurance give commitment any kind of assistance to rice bank development. Income, expenditure and future planning were present 4 number rice bank. The meeting was end with open discussion and closing speech of president of the meeting.
