Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university

Experience

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in Sponsorship Programme implementation.

·       Experience in working on child databases.

·       DRR & CCA-related experience will be an added advantage.

Motorcycle driving skills with a valid license are required.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS), a reputable development organisation, is implementing the Women Initiatives for Community Development (W4CD) project in Fulbari, Kurigram, with the support of ActionAid Bangladesh. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Sponsorship Officer to manage and implement sponsorship activities with high quality and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement sponsorship activities aligned with the critical pathway and allocated budget.
• ·Ensure child wellbeing through regular communication, support, and monitoring of sponsored children.

·       Manage all sponsorship communications (e.g. child messages, supporter correspondence, photo updates, soft stories, inclusion mapping, community voice reports) in compliance with AAB guidelines.

·Provide operational support and capacity building to field facilitators, community journalist groups, child forums, SVAW networks, Reflection Action Circles, and Loko Kendras.

·Capture quality photos and videos for documentation and timely uploading in the designated platforms.

·       Coordinate with local government, NGOs, private sectors, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.

·Facilitate different child forums and groups to promote child leadership, ensuring alignment with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

· Organise child-focused events to amplify the voices of marginalised children and foster a rights-based environment.

· Prepare timely and accurate reports: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual, including fact and figures, success stories, and case studies.

 Assist in developing educational materials and supporting early childhood care and development initiatives.

·Participate in review and reflection sessions (PRRP), and represent the organisation in local and national forums.

· Uphold child protection, safeguarding, and PSHEA standards across all activities and interactions.

Support disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), and climate-resilient livelihood initiatives.

·Perform any other tasks assigned by line management related to sponsorship operations and community engagement.
