Action for Impact (A4I) Project of District Harmony Network organizes dialogue on social Harmony at Dakbangla Mat, Chilahati, Domar on 18 November 2019 supported by Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and Action Aid Bangladesh. Mr. Johirul Islam Pramanik, Founder Principle of Chilahati Government College were participates as a guest. The program was presided over by Mr. Soroyar Manik, Convener, District Harmony Network and Principle of Moshiur Rahman College, Nilphamari. Mr. Alauddin Ali, Executive Director, USS, Nilphamari was moderator of the dialogue.
Besides, around 85 people from different classes & religious, leader were participated. In detail discussed regarding Social harmony in the mass-dialogue. What is harmony, the history of social harmony, the type of harmony, the Importance of harmony and how to strengthen harmony in society? The participants thanked the USS and the District Harmony Network for organizing discussions on this new and important topic. Everyone participated lively in the dialogue and for the first time felt that they had the privilege of giving their opinion. Different people offer different opinions about harmony -
Nasrin, a youth member, said: "To live in forgetfulness of caste, religion, caste is harmony."
Nipen Roy said, "Co-love is harmony and love is to live for the good of all."Moniruzzaman, the Imam said - "Living in unison with Hindus, Muslims, rich and poor, white and black, like party."There are also many ways to analyze harmony. Finally, the negotiators say that it is our responsibility to establish this harmony and we can hold dialogue in educational institutions, on the basis of harmony.
