Youth forum arranged a Dialogue session on youth participation in decision making structure at field level with the support of Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and Action Aid Bangladesh at USS training centre on 20th December’2018. There were 61( Female-2 & Male-38) participants participated among them youth female 12, youth male 10 and correspondent 10 presented in the event. Sorwer Hossain, Principal of Moshiur Rahman Degree College was present as chair person in the dialogue. Shafiqul Islam District Education Officer, Abdul Faruk DD of Department of Youth Development, Md. Abul Kasem Azad DD of Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Afroja Begum DD of Department of Family Planning, Nusrat Fatema ADD of Social Welfare of Nilphmari district and Action Aid representative Nazmul were present as guest. Chairman of Vogdaburi and Bamunia union parished of Domer upazila also present in the program. Alauddin Ali provided welcome speech and played role as moderator. After welcome speech an open discussion continued where many youth participant want to know from guests that how they involved in their different committee at field level like involvement of youth at SMC, Vocational training opportunity & credit support, different standing committees at union parishad level, to ensure health & family planning support at field level etc. All above mention guest informed regarding their departmental support, scope and opportunity at field level. Correspondents were inspired to youth to involve in social works in their locality for social development . Monjurul Islam Hemel & Nura Tasmim Nitu of Anirban Youth Group member of Domer upazila played responsibilities as presenter.
