One month self defense Karate training has been inaugurated on Sunday dated on 10th May, 2105 in Chilahati under Domar upazila, Nilphamari. The self defense karate was arranged by Sestev a civil society organization with the support of USS and Plan international Bangladesh. In the program upazila chairman Abdur Razzak Bosunia was chief guest and chaired by Rubaet hossain Don, executive director of sestev. In the speech of chief guest said that, it is good initiative from USS and Plan international Bangladesh for the girls children. It will help our girls to protect them if any critical situation faced. Not only that it will help them for their physical growth and fitness. During the inauguration ceremony Alauudin Ali executive director said that, it is a good opportunity for the girls to learn karate training.
It will create a good space for our girls to be empowered and show their potentialities and skills. Rahidul Islam, program coordinator of Plan International Bangladesh, Mrs. Taohida Joti, leader of CSO, Mazedul islam up member, Kaykobad Hossain, Pobon Malo, Project coordinator of USS, CSO representative Sohidul Islam Liton, Professor Azadul Islam, Abid hoosain school teachers were present and delivered their valuable speeches. 25 girls will be trained up on self defense karate training in chilahai by girl power project.
