Sewing machines distributed among young women's

After seven days basic training from girl power project (GPP) on sewing 6 participants got machines who have scored good and done well in the final evaluation. Ten Girls and young women received training from six unions of Nilphamari sadar upazila. The sewing distribution held at Natun Bazar High school dated on 10th June, 2105. Md. Sabet Ali, UNO of Nilphamari Sadar upazila was chief guest in the program and distributed sewing machines among the girls and young women. “I know USS is implementing good interventions for the girls and young women. As the part of the intervention six of you getting sewing machines and rest four machines will be provided by upazila administration”. He also added that “ If USS conduct training for 25 participants mostly poor girls, divorce and girls with disability I will provide them sewing machines with my own initiatives”. In the distribution program Head master of Notun Bazare high school, Md. Hamidul Islam, Coordinator of SOS project, Pobon Malo, project Coordinator of Girl power project , Rousonara Begum, Technical officer of Girl power project  and the  guardians of the sewing participants were present during sewing machines distribution program.
