Gender Equality through Peoples Initiative (GEPI) Project under Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has Formed Union Social Support Committee supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) at Khokshabari and Gorgram union porishod on 23 May 2019. These program were chaired by chairman Md. Reajul Islam of Gorgram union and Md. Bodiujaman Prodhan of Khokshabari union in respective union. UP members, secretary, Imam, marriage registrars, religious leaders, government service providers, teacher and civil society were attended in the program. Total 53 participants were present in two unions. Female 17 and male 36 were among total participants in the program. Alauddin Ali ED of USS delivered welcome speech in the program. Jharna Rani Roy, PC was discussed about goals and objective of project. There were discussed about goal, objective, responsibilities of the Committee and then formed of social support committee. MD. Jomil, coordinator of Agriculture, M&E of USS was present in the program. The union chairman closing speech respective union in the program.
