Udayankur Seba Sangstha(USS) has been implementing the Project Titled “Integrated Sponsorship Funded Project” partnership with Plan International Bangladesh Since July-2020. USS has arranged a dialogue among government service providers, Youth, religious leader, local government elected members and community elite supported by Plan International Bangladesh at Upazilla parishod hall room, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari on 09 June’2022 for reduce child marriage.

Upazilla social welfare officer, upazila women affairs officer, Upazilla youth development Officer, Officers in Charge, Education Specialist(Plan International Bangladesh) and Executive Director of USS were present as special guests. UP chairman, youth, Religion leader, local elite, media representatives were also present in the dialogue. Total 100 participants were present among 42 females and 58 male. At the beginning of the dialogue, a youth leaded study on child marriage of Jaldhaka Upazilla was presented. After child marriage study presentation an open discussion continued where many youth participant want to know from guests that how to stop child marriage. There was some questioned and replied through open discussion for improvement of service.
This Program is chaired by Chanchal Kumar Voumic, Uazilla Secondary Education officer of Jaldhaka. He has said the importance of birth registration for reduce the child marriage.
Upazilla Parishad Chairman, Md. Abdul Ohahed Bahadur was the chief guest of the program. He has addressing the importance of the local government representatives considering stop child marriage.
Md. Aminur Rahman, Local Elite of shimulbari Union has said that we are working for stop child marriage, so we need to help to government administration.
