Bamuniya Union Parishad Chairman has started ward budget meeting as a part of the Union open budget declaration. In the Ward meeting huge women's participation is seen of this year. Demand has received from the grassroots level following the participatory way; it is difficult for the UP member and the chairman to get their huge proposal. Still, project proposals are being adopted through extensive discussion and negotiation. Alauddin Ali, Executive Director of Udayankur Seva Sangstha (USS); Syed Amin Al-Anas, Deputy Manager of ActionAid Bangladesh; Waheduzzaman Bullet, Chairman of Bamunia UP; UP member, UP secretary, USS representatives and people from different parts of the area participated in the budget meeting of Ward no. 2 of Bamunia union on 17th April’2019. Union youth organizations organized the budget meeting, with facilitation of USS and supported by Actionaid Bangladesh.
