Udayankur Seba sangstha and Plan International is committed to protecting children from any kind of violence and gender discrimination. Integrated Sponsorship funded Project under Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has arranged gender responsive safeguarding training for sponsorship girls and adolescents girls supported by Plan International Bangladesh at 06 union of Jaldhaka Upazilla of Nilphamari district during 09 to 31 May,2021.
Objective of these evnet:
Total 10 events has organized & total 98 sponsorship girls and 25 girls of sponsorship family were present in the training. There were discussed about gender responsive safeguarding, gender base violence, Universal declaration of human rights, Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), child right, Child Marriage Restraint Act’2017, Child Marriage Restraint Rules’2018, safeguarding child & young people and reporting & responding procedure of child and youth incident etc. These training were very interactive. Most of the participants were said that we have gained enough knowledge on the training. These training were facilitated by project staff of Integrated Sponsorship Funded project.
