Community drama show

Gender Equality through Peoples Initiative (GEPI) Project under Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has arranged a drama show 'Shulyr Kotha ’ has been presented by Polashbari Rongdhonu drama team to stop child marriage and promote gender equality supported by MANUSHER JONNO FOUNDATION  (MJF) at  Dolapara Bamondanga, Palashbari, Nilphamari sodor on 22 December’2019 at  3.00 pm.

Objectives of the program:

• Quickly disseminate issue based information through drama show.
• Community peoples will be a positive change in outlook and they will be cultured.
• To increase knowledge about gender equality.
• To reduce gender based violence, child marriage, dowry in community.
• Superstitions will be removed from the community.

Around five hundred peoples observed the drama and enjoyed the event. After the show community peoples, teachers, UP member, group members, adolescents gave their opinion to arrange more drama show for other part of the union. The drama presentation was very effective in the community.
