Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has celebrated 16 Days of Activism in Human Chain & Discussion Program supported by Plan International Bangladesh at Jaldhaka Nilphamari road & YLC on 30th November 2023 for Raising awareness to take action violence against girls and women. Total 48 participants were present ( Male- 09 & Female- 39). Chief guest- Shahnaz Akhtar, Assistant Professor of Rabeya Chowdhury Mohila College and Special guest- Abdul Goffar Chowdhuri, Educator and Freedom fighter in the event.
The learners of Youth Learning Center highlighted the main theme of the prevention of violence against women by holding banners, festoons, and placards through human chains. And this time the theme was 'Investment for Women, Prevention of Violence'. Keeping this issue in mind, the discussion program was organized.
“Education is the main tool for women's development. Through education respect and money can be achieved. So everyone should use education as a tool to prevent all forms of violence.”- Shahnaz Akhtar, Assistant Professor, Rabeya Chowdhury Mohila College.
