Rally and discussion has been held on the occasion of International Environment Day by USS on 5 June ’14 at luxmichap union in Nilphamari district supported by Diakonia Bangladesh. The rally started from the field of Community Dhan Bank at 10:30 am. The inauguration ceremony was presided by Babu Radhakanto Roy, president of Dhan Bank Assassination. Md. Aminur Rhaman, Chirman, Luxmichap union parishad, Luxmichap, as chief guest and Babu Brindronath Roy, President , ARC Luxmichap, Omor faruk, Ganogabeshon & Training Coordinator,USS, Md. Hamidul Islam, Agriculture Coordinator, USS, Md. Kuddus Sarker, Education Coordinator, USS as special guest were present at the ceremony. With rhythmic music and slogan, the rally moved along the main roads of the akalugong bazar and ended at the Community Dhan Bank field. Monazzini Khanam, Project Coordinator, Promote Gender Equality through Local Knowledge & People’s Initiative Project, USS, Nilphamari gave welcome speech in the event. About 225 people participated in that event. They were members of Ganogobeshona group and Adolescent Forum.
