Fultala High School of Nilphamari Sader upazila organized human chain and discussion session on climate change strike facilitated by USS and supported by Diakonia in front of road and own campus of their school on 26th September’2019. Near about 250 persons willingly participated in the event. MS Mojibul Haque head teacher of Fultala High School, Krishno Komol Roy assistant teacher of same school, Farida Khanom Convener of Nari Jogajog Kandra (NJK), girls & boys football team members developed by USS PGELKPI project with the support of Diakonia, students, Jomil coordinator – Agriculture, Monitoring & Evaluation, Salma Akter GDO and other staffs of USS were present in the program. USS staff, teacher and students were participated of discussion session. Jomil said climate change is a crucial issue nowadays and climate change is happening due to people made unplanned industries, unfit fuel driven vehicles, deforestation, unethical activities etc. so we should aware to prevent environment pollution. Krishno Komol Roy has said developed countries are playing role to happen negative effect to climate change like destroy of ozone layer and environment pollution. Farida Khanom convener of NJK mentions that awareness raising will be start on climate change from family. MS Mozibul Haque head teacher said awareness raising program will be increase on climate change issues in each school, college and madrasha and to do end of the program with closing speech.
