Adolescent forum and Participatory Action Research (PAR) forum of Laxmichap union arranged of Rally, Sports, cultural program and discussion session as a part of Rokeya day celebration supported by USS and Diakonia in front of Laxmichap union parished filed on 09th December’2019. The theme of the day is “Equality of Men and Women can prevention of violence”. Aminur Rahman chairman of Laxmichap union was present as chief guest. Besides Adolescent forum member,PAR forum members,Students, Community peoples, civil society representatives, teachers and union parished members were present in the program. Near about 1000 peoples were present in the program. Shahnaz Begum Project Coordinator of gender equality project delivered welcome speech. Rikta chattachario said Begum Rokeya’s dialogue we have to do come out of women from home and educate them. Rikta chattachario also said Rokeya’s dream will full fill resulting of participation of women in rally, sports and discussion session. Aminur Rahman Chairman of Laxmichap union and Babu Gonopoti Roy Head teacher of Kokoi Borogacha PC High School also taken part of discussion session. Prizes were given to winner of different spots events. Babu Radhakanto Roy president of 3 number rice bank Laxmichap declared end of the program thanking to all participants.
