Drama Script Development Training Arranged at CLC, Jaldhaka

Drama show is a method where information can be disseminated to the grassroots people and can bring positive changes in lives. USS is implementing Child Rights and Protection (CRP) project in Jaldhaka upazila with the partnership of Plan International Bangladesh with a goal “Children are better protected from all forms of violence including child marriage and child labour through inclusive and effective community based child protection mechanisms”. Awareness show is one of the major activities in the project to create mass awareness among the community especially on child marriage and child labor. To implement the activity strongly in the community level USS arranged three days day long training on drama script development for child and youth forum representatives in two bathes started from 28th August and ended 3rd September, 2016. There are 50 participants among them actively participated in the training. The training was conducted by Youth Association for Culture and Development (YACD) an youth led organization.  In the two batches training 30 participants were boys and 20 participants were girls. “From script development training I came to know how to develop a script considering child rights and protection aspects. I hope we can perform better in near future”, Akash Khan, secretary member of upazila child forum expressed his feelings and the end of the training. On the other hand Ania Roy, member of child forum said that, “I have been benefited to attend the training on how to perform stage program.  It was very important training for me”.
