Women Violence opposing campaign’2019

 16 days campaign of violence against women continued supported by USS and Diakonia during 25^th November to 10^th December’2019. Women network was started the campaign with arranging rally, human chain and discussion session at Nilphamari district of 25^th November’2019. Participatory Action Research (PAR) forum, Adolescent forum, Student forum were conducted the following activities-

â–  Conduct rally and discussion at union level

â–   Conduct Village wise group meeting,

â–   Carry on household based meeting,

â–   Perform violence against women related song,

â–   Begum Rokeya day celebration with rally, women sports, postering,

â–   Promotion violence against women using by cycle, mobile van

Different activities have conducted to near about 5000 peoples for awareness raising and most of participants has committed to work violence against women. Women network members of Nilphamari have said our activities will be continued of 16 days campaign end too. We have there where violence arise.  Campaigns were ended performing above activities on 10^th December’2019.
