Adolescent Girls and Boys forum of Laxmichap union of Nilphamari sader upazila arranged awareness raising campaign regarding prevention of Dengue virus by mosquito and control of drug materials supported by USS PGELKPI project & Diakonia at Kokoi PC high school play ground on 7th August’2019. The program conducted following two steps. A colorful rally moved from school to near villages at 1st step. Then a discussion session was conducted by respective head teacher, PC & GDO of PGELKPI project, Adolescent forum members where Babu Kamini Kanto Roy chairperson of that school was present as chaired and Rajina Begum Women member of Laxmichap union for awareness raising regarding control of Dengue virus dissemination with mosquito and control drug materials to safe environment. Near about 345 participants were present where Teachers, students, Adolescent forum members were included. At the starting of the discussion session, Prinkya Rani Roy member of adolescent forum discuss about dengue virus dissemination, drug and its negative impact in human body and mentality. Roton Roy secretary of adolescent forum said young generation are attracting to drug day by day and involving different unsocial activities as a result killed, rape, terrorist works are increasing at society. All lecturer are discussed how to prevent dengue virus and to keep safe of peoples. Adolescent forum is to do plan to continue this event at different educational institute and community. Adolescent forum members are distributed fruits and medicinal plants sapling to 45 students. All participants are take part to clean of school campus removing of dust materials and unexpected weed and the program is closed with closing speech of chairperson.
