Girls are facing much violence and exploitation because of harmful norms of our society. That is why Udayankur Seba Sangstha  (USS) has formed six girls child club and six youth women clubs in our working areas. There are more than 60 sponsorship girls child and 57 youth women attended in girls and youth women club session on March, 2021. They are trained in Life Skills to increase their knowledge, awareness and enhance their active involvement in society. Special focus is given to building the capacity of girls in critical thinking, negotiation and decision making.

Goals of the Club:

To create a protective and respected environment for the children and adolescents especially adolescent girls and to develop their full potential to become active drivers of change in transforming power relations and gender inequality.

USS believes that the club would also contribute to the members as learning, sharing & studying platform considering their issues. On the other side USS also thinks, the Club member would be as a future change agent.

“I am really glad to be part of the club,” said asa moni, age 16, Mirgonj. She also said “I have learned so many things from the Club especially on life skill”.

USS also believes that a girls club will be to change hearts and minds of girl and their families.  They also have promised to keep themselves from this barriers, negative thinking and harmful activities and build self-confidence.
