16 Days of Activism has observed through Rally & Discussion Program at Shimulbari High School, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari under Sponsorship Program-Nilphamari on 05 December, 2023 for Raising awareness to take action to prevent violence against women. Jotish Chandra Ray, Head Teacher, Shimulbari SC high School was as Chief guest. Special guest- Monsur Ali, CBO Leader, Shimulbari. Other Guest- Shirin Akter Asa, ED-Asmani Somaj Kallan Sangstha, Jaldhaka; MST. Roushan Ara Begom, President, Anti Sexual Harassment Committee, Shimulbari.

Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has celebrated 16 Days of Activism in Rally & Discussion Program supported by Plan International Bangladesh at Shimulbari Union Jaldhaka on 05 December, 2023 for Raising awareness to take action violence against girls and women. Total 179 participants were present (Male- 15 & Female- 184).
The learners of Shimulbari SC high School highlighted the main theme of the prevention of violence against women by holding banners, festoons, and placards through Rally. And this time the theme was 'Investment for Women, Prevention of Violence'. Keeping this issue in mind, the discussion program was organized at Shimulbari SC high School.

Key Challenges:
As the school was closed after the examination, it was very difficult to inform the students from house to house to participate in the event
Recommendations for Challenge Mitigation Desirable participation was possible when the project staff contacted the students in advance and followed up by collecting the mobile numbers of the students from the school.

Discussing the importance of the event with everyone ensures spontaneous participation.
