Youth consultancy meeting on mobile app use to ensure public service

Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has organized a "Youth consultancy meeting on ensure public service using mobile app" at USS Conference Room supported by Action Aid under A4I project on 22 Decmber’2018. There were 61(Female-25,Male-36) participants participated among of them youth female 24,  youth male 20,  correspondent 6 and others 11 in the event.  Sarwar Manik, Principal of Moshiur Rahman Degree College was present as chair person in the meeting. Shafiqul Islam District Education Officer, Abdul Faruk DD Department of Youth is present as a guest. Monjurul Islam Hemel & Nura Tasmim Nitu of Anirban Youth Group member of Domar upazila played responsibilities as presenter.

Irin Akhter youth representative of Jaldhaka upazila informed welcome to all participant through welcome speech at beginning of the meeting and she also requested to DD-department of youth as they involve youths in any activities. Alauddin Ali, ED of USS said through introduction speech that “We should to highest utilization of science but we cannot develop myself and our country as world develop country”. Besides, he expects the demand for the useable context of app from youths.

Md. Ruhid Islam, IT expert brief on mobile app during the meeting and participants know some issues with question-answer. After that Md Kaykobad Hossain, PC of R2PP project Jaldhaka facilitate and collect opinion of youths through group work, how the app doing beside their expectation about what issues to should include. Major suggestion of youths:

• Need to use the app management a specific ID and password.
• We would like get all youths information by this mobile app.
• All GO-NGO service information include in this app.
• Include Department of youth training trade.
• Include youth opinion writing option and reply option of public service provider.
• We want to know child and youth law, act through the app.
• Sexual reproductive health information videos, tutorial include this app.
• Victim child, women and youth are get assistance of law’s with maintaining 100% security.
• We would like purchase emergency medicine by mobile app.
• Keep cultural video, drama and counseling of parents.
• All help line number include in mobile app.
• Disaster advance news, management and information include in mobile app.

Abdul Faruk DD Department of Youth said that “Nowaday’s governments open some web portal of deferent department as Jela totho batayon, I think your mobile apps is also add value and youth are function very well.
